The climate in the alps is perfect for a summer activity holiday. The sun is stronger than it feels so you’ll need plenty of sun cream, but you’ll benefit from the low humidity whether you are rambling around or on a Mountain bike hill climb.
Day temperatures in July and August regularly hit the high 20’s, although it’s not much cooler in June and September. As with any high mountain area the weather can and does change quickly, so being prepared is vitally important to ensure you enjoy every day of your activity holiday. It worth taking something warmer for the evenings too as temperature often drop away beneath clear star lit skies.
